The principle of stainless steel copper plating and aging: a real copper layer is electroplated on the surface, and then a chemical solution is used to make
the copper surface corrode and form rust spots, patterns, and a transparent clear lacquer is applied to protect the surface from further oxidation.
Advantages: Because it is the color formed by copper oxidation, it has good texture, which cannot be compared with other materials.
Disadvantages: The formation of rust spots is related to the concentration of the antiquing solution, air humidity, outdoor temperature, and the techniques used by the craftsman. For example, the color achieved in the summer may be difficult to replicate in the winter.
